The Tiki Taxi Co. is one of There's oldest existing businesses. Inaugurated by Jeidot on August 10, 2003, the membership has now grown to over 50 drivers and operates as a premier transportation business in There.
The Taxi and Driver's Shirts were first brought to the attention of There members in a forum posting on August 10, 2003. The response was impressive; many members held the desire to drive taxis and established designers loved the taxi and shirt designs Jeidot had created. Roonster from the Roonster Boardshaping Co. fame took over as CEO on August 21, 2004. A new business model was created in September 2004 and the business was re-launched operating centrally from this website.
